Nuanced Edge
Nuanced Edge lies between the natural look and the loud, vibrant funky shades. This is a color technique that’s being embraced by many of my clients 35 and older! Somewhere between “Post punk” aggressive personal expression and “Advanced Style Octogenarians” who boldly express creativity in their personal style, there is a middle ground that does not have to rely on a completely natural look. I like to throw in some micro-lights of an intense pigment or sometimes a dash of a muted, unnatural shade into the mix. It’s a fun way to show your creative side with a balance subtlety and artistry.
Vibrant Funk
An explosion of rainbow colors is now possible to achieve with new color lines and techniques. They look has been dubbed many terms: rainbow hair, mermaid hair or unicorn hair. Not for wallflowers, these high maintenance colors say “look at me” from across the room!
