Before & After
People have asked me how I “brand” myself as a hairstylist. Being an artisan who has honed many various skills over the years in numerous techniques, I simply can’t narrow it down to one facet of hair! My “brand” is actually you.
Every client’s hair is completely unique and so are their desired results. I’m inspired to use my skillset to give you a change, correct an issue, enhance the positives, or ease the maintenance of your daily hair routine. My client’s hair is the raw material and we work together to craft the best solutions.
Here are just a few of your transformations.
TEXTURE: Dasi has extremely thick, coarse hair. She wanted a style that is low maintenance. If you look closely, you can see that I cut the hairline very short. This eliminated a lot of the frizzy texture and all she has to do is use a little styling product.
COLOR: Carey started life as a natural red head but it has faded over the years. She wanted to match her daughter’s hair color. I applied a single process with a few hi-lights and low lights to keep a variation of tone to give a natural look.
COLOR: Gina desired to have a change. We decided to make her hair a bold blonde. I applied a lot of bleach pieces but left a slight shadow root.
CORRECTIVE COLOR: Karla is an example of a corrective color. We cut off 6 inches. I placed sporadic foils throughout the root area, deepened the color in-between the foils and toned the hair with a glaze for luster. When blow drying, I used a round brush for a smooth and soft curl affect.
MAKEOVER: Christine was growing a shorter cut out. I felt that bangs and a subtle face frame color would open up her face and show off her cheekbones. The layers that I put in encouraged her natural wave. This is a wash and wear look.
EXTENSIONS: Libby has very fine hair and wanted to have a little more density and length. I pre-colored her hair to match the extensions. I used 3 shades of extensions and hand blended each individual extension myself.
