This is my favorite for anyone, especially for the middle aged ladies whom nobody seems to cater to. It’s a choice that says “I’m no longer a young adult, and I’m not mainstream…and I am NOT waiting until I am 80 to express it!” Nuanced hair color lies between natural tones and vibrant unnatural hues. Many of my clients, particularly those 40 and older, embrace this approach- It’s somewhere between post-punk self-expression and the fearless creativity of the advanced style fad. It is a middle ground that doesn’t rely on looking entirely natural. I love adding micro-lights intense pigment or kisses of muted unconventional l shades to create a look that is artistically sophisticated, expressive, and subtly unique without looking like a 50 year old who hangs out at Hot Topic shops in your local mall.
